He who grows in wisdom grows in impatience.
Just as he who knows much is hard to satisfy. At times we suffer most impatience with those upon whom we most depend. But this is a game of fools, for only foolish men are upset
by events they cannot control.
Learning to keep a rein on impatience when our nature is impetuous prepares us for
encountering misfortunes with perfect calm.
It is the lessons of restraint that force us to set up a school of self control.
Let him who cannot control his impatience take refuge within himself and test his strength
