Recognize The Power of Courtesy
Courtesy is the quiet, underlying power behind all negotiations. those of breeding fall under its spell, while the vulgar, confronted by it, fall over in confusion. It is said that only a fool keeps shouting while his opponent whispers. When you add courtesy to something you sell, it returns a twofold value. You receive the worth of goods and, at the same time, the respect of the satisfied buyer. Among mature negotiators, courtesy is a sign of sophistication and caring. Even in an exchange in which few words are spoken, the buyer and seller agree tacitly to trade again. There isn't much that the art of courtesy cannot improve........B G
